100 Women Took a Survey About Their Struggles and This is What They said

Hi Reader,

I am so grateful for those of you who participated in this survey. Thank you for your time and for contributing to something bigger in our community for women, by women.

The results are in and the tea is HOT!

Can we talk about one of my FAVORITE parts of this survey? 😂

I asked:

“What do you wish existed that would actually help you?”

Apparently, we are all looking for the same mental health treatment:

✨ A magic wand. ✨

Seriously. Some version of a magic wand, magic pill, or magic reset was listed over and over again. One woman literally asked for a brain chip she could insert so someone would finally see how great she is and understand her.

Honestly? Fair.

Unfortunately, I have checked, and none of these are currently covered by insurance. ;)

But there was something much more important underneath those answers.

You are NOT the only person thinking, “I understand what I’m doing… WHY CAN’T I JUST STOP DOING IT?!”

Women told me they:

  • replay conversations over and over
  • assume they’re the problem when someone’s behavior changes
  • struggle to trust their own judgment
  • know they need a boundary and still struggle to hold it
  • shut down when they’re overwhelmed
  • people please to avoid conflict
  • panic when they sense someone pulling away
  • stay too long because they’re afraid of making the wrong decision
  • understand their patterns intellectually but still can’t figure out what to DO when they’re activated

So if you’ve ever thought:

“I literally KNOW BETTER. Why am I still doing this?”

Welcome. 😂

Apparently, there are a whole lot of us. And THAT is exactly why I’ve become so obsessed with practical skills like DBT.

DBT was my “magic wand” in my healing journey. My holy grail!

I will never forget the first time it just clicked and a guy I was seeing said, “You are so logical, reasonable, and great at communicating.”

Who, me?!?!

I never thought I would hear a man say that to me before DBT. I was a dumpster fire before. Really....

Because DBT isn’t about telling you to “just stop overthinking.”

It teaches actual skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and communicating effectively, which are the exact kinds of tools so many of you said you’re looking for.

Is it a literal magic wand? Sadly, no.

But learning what to actually DO when your emotions take over is a lot closer than being told to “just trust yourself.”

And that’s exactly why I built DBT-inspired tools into the 30-Day Self-Trust Reset Workbook. Because I don’t just want you to understand your patterns or try another self-help trend.

I want you to have something to reach for when the pattern is happening in real time, backed by research.

Research actually shows changes in the part of our brain responsible for emotion regulation after using DBT.

Inside, you’ll work on things like:

✔ Emotional regulation

✔ Overthinking

✔ Boundaries

✔ Communication

✔ Self-worth

✔ Identifying relationship patterns

✔ Trusting your own judgment

✔ Responding instead of reacting

✔ Building confidence in your decisions

I’m giving you exercises, scripts, assessments, reflection prompts, DBT-inspired tools, and companion videos to actually help you practice doing it.

76 pages. 30 days. $27.

And newsletter subscribers can still use code KAY for 20% off, bringing it down to $21.60.

If you read those survey results thinking…

“Okay wow, she basically just described me.”

That’s probably because I created this program for women dealing with exactly these things.

BUT I also need your help. ❤️

The survey taught me SO much, and I want to keep listening instead of assuming I know what you need.

So whether you buy the workbook or not, would you hit reply and answer a few questions for me?

  1. What originally made you interested in the Self-Trust Reset?
  2. Did you download my free “Anxiety or Red Flag?” guide? If you did, what did you think of it?
  3. If you’ve considered buying the workbook but haven’t, what’s holding you back?

Price? Not sure it’s for you? Don’t have time? Don’t understand what you’ll get? Something else entirely?

  1. What could I do better?

Seriously. You will not hurt my feelings. 😂

I don’t want to create resources based on what I think women need.

I want to create them based on what you’re actually telling me you need.

So hit reply. Even if it’s two sentences.

I’m reading them. ❤️
